Music
I believe that music can cure everything due to its diversity and cultural implications. I’ve learned to appreciate everything from hip-hop and Japanese jazz to Latin Reggae and the nostalgic Mandarin pop. Knowing four languages has enriched my musical experience, allowing me to feel different cultures’ energies. Aftering visiting a place, making music inspired by the people there is my unique way of preserving precious memories. Furthermore, while making sure that I am being respectful, I enjoy blending different cultural influences to produce styles such as jazz-rap to represent cultural fusion. I do still have to figure out how to integrate heavy metal drums, though.

Live Performances
1 / Mama Mia musical - keyboard
I was not expecting to learn a whole book of songs in a month...faked it till I made it!
2 / Interstellar - piano solo
Sound track from one of my favorite movies.
A minor key signature, all white notes, simple progression, yet so emotional...
3 / Jazz band - bass
We performed a total of four songs.
This one is called C Jam Blues.
Wow the bass has got to have one of the sexiest sounds.
